Following our General Assembly and the welcome of new members, EMH is strengthening its strategic outlook with upcoming project calls, increased engagement in science diplomacy and the development of a new European-level networking tool to enhance collaboration among members.

EMH annual General Assembly

The EMH General Assembly was held in December 2025 and marked an important milestone for our network. We were pleased to welcome three new members:

Prof. Klaus-Viktor Peinemann, Prof. Christelle Wisniewski and Prof. Maria Norberta de Pinho, whose expertise and experience will further strengthen our community.

New project opportunities

Discussions are ongoing regarding EMH’s involvement in European calls. We have submitted and continue to submit funding applications through two complementary channels:

  • Innovative research via the EIC Pathfinder programme,
  • Knowledge transfer via WIDERA Twinning.

Science diplomacy & European visibility

EMH continues to strengthen its visibility in science diplomacy through active participation in European initiatives. This momentum is further reinforced by EMH’s official acceptance at the Fondation Universitaire in Brussels, strengthening its European and international positioning.

A new European networking tool

A new networking tool is currently being developed in the form of an interactive map of European membrane stakeholders, designed to support collaboration among our members by facilitating connections, knowledge sharing, and project development.

More updates will follow soon!
