Internship programme: enhancing sector knowledge
We are pleased to welcome two interns who will focus on the European membrane sector. Their work will help deepen our understanding of the field’s structure and dynamics, and foster stronger connections between academia, industry, and innovation players.
Launch of new communication tools
To promote greater visibility and understanding of membrane technologies, we have initiated a new communication strategy, including:
- Educational short videos on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram;
- Articles and updates on LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter);
- A scientific podcast currently in development, featuring voices from the research and innovation community.
These initiatives aim to make membrane science more accessible and to highlight its relevance in addressing societal and environmental challenges.
Membrane Day 2025
The Membrane Day 2025, organised by the European Membrane Society (EMS), took place in April. EMH contributed to the event by producing and sharing a scientific outreach video on membranes, aimed at raising public awareness about their importance and wide range of applications.

Involvement in European projects
EMH is now taking part in several European initiatives that support innovation and collaboration in the membrane sector. These activities reflect our continued commitment to strengthening this field at the European level.
