At the crossroads of innovation and public engagement, Les Ponts du Savoir -Bridges of knowledge- is a new initiative dedicated to making membrane science accessible to all.
Driven by the conviction that scientific research should serve society at large, Les Ponts du Savoir offers a series of educational content aimed at demystifying membrane technologies and showcasing their vital role in various fields (water treatment, energy, healthcare, space exploration...).
Two complementary formats allow us to reach diverse audiences:
- Short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts): Quick, engaging clips presenting key concepts, fascinating applications, and insights into current membrane research — all in under 3 minutes.
- Long-form podcast episodes: In-depth explorations available on major podcast platforms, featuring expert interviews, detailed explanations, and real-world case studies that highlight the importance and impact of membranes in everyday life.
This initiative is part of a broader evolution of our association. As we update our statutes, we are proud to establish the EMH as a dynamic center for knowledge sharing and innovation around membranes. With EMH as a hub, we aim to connect researchers, professionals, students, and the wider public through accessible scientific communication.
Through Les Ponts du Savoir, we are committed to valuing and promoting membrane research, building bridges between science and society, and fostering a culture of curiosity and discovery.
